Florida vegetable and specialty crop producers will not want to miss the 2021 Florida Ag Expo. The event will take place on Nov. 18 at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Gulf Coast Research and Education Center in Wimauma, Florida. Growers will learn about the future of farming, diving deep into the latest and soon-to-come technology for farming.
There is growing interest in AI and robotics technologies to increase efficiency and reduce dependency on labor. Many growers are wondering where to start and how best to use these tools. At the opening session of the Florida Ag Expo, they’ll hear from some of the industry’s leading AI and robotics experts.
After lunch, two concurrent educational programs will take place. These seminars will focus on best management practices and pest management in fruits and vegetables. CEU opportunities will be available in the afternoon programs.
BIGGER AND BETTER TRADE SHOW
Along with the top-notch educational sessions, the Florida Ag Expo will feature its biggest trade show yet, packed with the industry’s leading suppliers. While visiting the trade show floor, attendees can make connections with exhibitors and see the latest products and services available.
Growers will want to take advantage of this opportunity, so preregister here or call 352-671-1909. All preregistered growers will automatically be entered for a chance to win a John Deere gun safe courtesy of Everglades Equipment Group.
