The Florida Ag Expo is scheduled for Nov. 7 at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Gulf Coast Research and Education Center in Wimauma. AgNet Media will be bringing back the tailgate party after its popular debut at last year’s event.
The tailgate-style trade show allows exhibitors to participate in the lunch break. Vendors will be providing a wide variety of foods and sweet treats from their booths. Last year, the exhibitor offerings ranged from barbecue and wings to Cajun, Asian and Latin cuisine, to ice cream and other desserts.
The tailgate was a hit because it created an environment conducive for growers to network with their peers and the exhibitors. In addition, the vendors will be participating in a friendly competition for a cash prize to see which booth gets the most votes from attendees for the best food served. Attendees who vote for their favorite dish will be entered into a drawing for a cash prize as well.
Come to the Florida Ag Expo for its outstanding educational program and field tour to see the latest research in action but stay for the tailgate food and prizes! Don’t miss the fun and education; register today!
