Preregistration Is Now Open

The Florida Ag Expo is introducing a new format for the 2023 show! Join us on Nov. 9 for a fall tailgate party at the UF/IFAS Gulf Coast Research and Education Center (GCREC). The event will offer a fun trade show for growers and exhibitors to interact. Educational sessions and a field tour are also included.

The Expo provides a packed educational program for attendees. A general session in the morning will include big-picture topics that impact small fruit and vegetable growers. Included on the agenda is a sneak peek of the new Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence that will be established at the GCREC.

Two breakout seminar sessions will dig into production issues like pest management, improved farming practices and much more. Pesticide license continuing education units and Certified Crop Adviser credits will be available during these sessions.

Between seminar sessions, the trade show will be a tailgate party. Exhibitors are encouraged to bring tailgate-style food to share with grower attendees. Growers will be able to network with exhibitors and other attendees while sampling delicious dishes and playing cornhole in the tailgate hub. AgNet Media will also provide lunch for all attendees.

One of the signature activities of the Florida Ag Expo is the field tour held after lunch. Attendees will board a trolley that makes several stops to view current research being conducted in the GCREC field. Weed, pest and disease management along with new varieties are often highlighted during the field tour. The tour ends with the traditional beer tasting in the hops yard, sponsored by FMC Corporation.

AgNet Media is proud to keep registration complimentary for commercial growers. All preregistered growers are eligible for a chance to win a John Deere gun safe, courtesy of Everglades Equipment Group. Preregister now!
